Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da |
It's a dare.
So: Cake, or death?
We interrupt our previously scheduled broadcast--which involved a lot of math--with the Beatles. This is the new theme: not math but the white album.
Today's question: Why is a raven like a writing desk?
I have some answers already; all will at last be posted.
But I also ask you: Judy Blume, or Paula Danzinger, or Paul Zindel? Discuss. |

The Raven and your Writings "quills" me to ponder why they might be like. But while I ponder Poe "life goes on"

Oh Judy Blume, if only because she gave us the nickname of Ralph for the girl in my class with the short curly hair
-
Judy Blume, because of "Forever," which was falling apart by the time it was passed to me in the fifth grade, and all the good parts had been highlighted.
-
M,
I'm a Zindel girl myself!

Q: Cake or death?
A: Eddie Izzard, please.
Q: Why is a raven like a writing desk>
A: Ven eesin't a raven like a writing desk?
or, okay, fine:
"Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front."
Judy Blume, or Paula Danzinger, or Paul Zindel?"
You can't seriously want me to choose.
Danzinger for hope. Blume for humor, and frankness about sexuality. Zindel for world's best titles.
And I love you for knowing about Danzinger and Zindel.

Zindel was so important to me when I was a teenager--but Blume was earlier.
Ravens and writing desks are both beautiful, but you should go ask Alice.
